Bayern president rejects Real Madrid's Olise bid

🇩🇪 8 June 2026

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer said the club will not sell French winger Michael Olise despite reports of a €150 million Real Madrid offer. The statement was made during a visit to a Bayern supporters' group.

Hainer emphasized that Olise has a long‑term contract and that Bayern are not a selling club. He added that Florentino Perez can save himself the trouble if he intends to propose a deal.

The stance mirrors earlier comments by honorary president Uli Hoeness, who dismissed a potential €200 million offer and stressed that Bayern play for fans, not profit. Hoeness argued that a large cash influx would not justify poorer performances.

No official offer from Real Madrid has been confirmed, and Bayern aim to keep Olise as part of their long‑term project. Fabrizio Romano is cited in the coverage of Hainer's comments.
